Talk about loosing sleep over Drag Racing!! Yesterday at the Vamp race, my car was hookin and runnin so **** good! I qualified where I wanted to, had the pairing I wanted, and made a kickass 1st round elimination race. Put a holeshot on a 3rd gen, and put abut 2 cars on him and had time to tap the brakes and cross the line to a 11.71 on a 11.70 index!! WooHoo!
Quarterfinal race was alot like the 1st race, put up a good holeshot against a 67 Chevelle, had about 1 car lead all the way down the track, but that Chevele wasn't givin up, just before the line, I lifted but didn't tap the break and ran a 11.690 to the Chevelle's 11.708 on the 11.70 index! I only had about 1/2 car lead and didn't think I had time to tap the break, and broke out! I would have had an easy bye straight to the Semi's to run Scott, ChargedGT!
But, never happened, and Scott went on to win the whole Hot Street Class!
Congrats Scott, I am sure we will get a shot at each other sometime this season!!

yeah, there was a few of us there! Ashley, AshsGT made the semi's too!! She broke out racing Perdieu in his GTO, she went a lil too fast!! lol
Also, Mike Fisk (Bouncer) went his fastest ever......12.1's
Paul, American Badass, was taken out by Scott in the semi's of our class
Oh, Ron (treeman) ran his best ever also, I believe he went a 12.1? also, but that was on the brakes to not break out of the 12.30 index! He would have had his first 11. sec pass easily the way he hooked and went!!

Paul took us out in the 2nd round..**** good .059 light...I knew I should have left the alarm clock on the dash so the kid would wake up...lol Car ran very consistant, just not quite enough yet. We'll get there.

Thanks Bro!! All my runs felt soo dam good, but I had to lift on every pass!!! I can't wait to get out on a TnT night to see what this car really has now that I finally got it all figured out!! I would have just ran them allout, but I am pretty sure there was no way I was gonna be able to run with all the 11.00 cars in the next class up!!:slap:

Yeah, my first pass and last pass were both about 1350'. Got a lil squirly, but I think that last pass my tires weren't quite hot enough and the track was very cold by then?

Kick ass job to the both of you. I'm definitely gonna be doing vamp next year. That looks like so much fun. Is it free to come out and watch and support? I'll have to watch a couple of the events.
