I’m looking at two tuners and I’m undecided on what one I should get.
sxt or sniper tuners. What have you guys worked with? I got from a buddy of mine superchips tuners.... don’t care for it that much but hell it was free.

Are you wanting the capability to have the car custom tuned? If so, I would recommend going with SCT.

With My 3000gt vr4 I had aem and I was able to do all my tuning my self. So i thought that the sniper would be something like that.

It might be, I don't have any experience with the sniper tuners. So I can't really give much of an opinion on them. Like I said tho, I had a SCT tuner with my 01 GT because the shop I use works with SCT. Might consider which shop you might be using in the future (unless you are doing all the work yourself, I didn't trust my self tuning the car) and make a decision based on that.

I was in the same boat, trying to pick a tuner. I went with SCT. Sadly it started snowing the day the tuner was supposed to arrive, and when I woke up I found a few inches of fresh snow.:beatyoass:

FWIW I picked up the tuner from American Muscle and am I am going to try out their Bama tuning.

Usually those pre-loaded tunes are pretty good. They will give the vehicle a nice wake up over stock form. I also like the SCT because you have the ability to do custom tuning as well. Plus, like it was mentioned before, the majority of the shops I used in the past all used SCT Software, so it was a pretty easy decision for me.
