Looking good. I love unpacking all the goodies before working on the car. Then, an hour later I'm cussin' at 'em!

I had to rebox them after I took the picture so I don't lose them by the time I finally get the chance to start on it. I have to finish overhauling the 8.8 I bought first, so it'll be at least a couple of weeks before I get to that point. Then I'll start cussing at them! :)

Holy crap. That looks like a lot of work, er fun, whatever.
If they'll fit and if you're interested, I have some springs from the Cobra that I'm not using since my coil-over conversion that you can have if you want.

Sure, I'll take them. I would imagine that they'd fit since I'm installing an 8.8 and the brake conversion uses SN95 spindles. I'll PM you to make arrangements.
It'll be a lot of work, but it should be easier/more enjoyable than rebuilding this 8.8. Two more bearings and I'll at least have it disassembled so I can actually start assembling the differential. I also need to take the axle housing in to have the ancient control arm bushings pressed out. If all goes well, I should have all of this done by the first event in March, which means it'll be April.

What type of rims are you gonna put on the car?

I'm going to get the Bullitt wheels. I think they'd look good on it. I like those better than anything else I've seen and they have the added bonus of being the cheapest

Is that a M-2300K brake kit?
That reminds me, I need to start collecting parts for my conversion.

Yes, that is the M2300K. Guess I never really said that, did I?
I looked into piecing it together, but I didn't really have the time to do that. I did find that most of the pieces are available at the parts stores, so what ever you can find you can pick up there. Here's the instruction manual (http://www.fordracingparts.com/download/instructionsheets/FordInstShtM-2300-K.pdf) that includes a parts list to make it easier to piece together.

Lucky guess on my part...
I got some of the major pieces for my conversion like the front an rear calipers and rotors, brackets, etc. I need to sell or ebay the spindles I have (03 cobra) and buy the correct 94-95 spindles and 94-98 rear axles. Plus all the little things.
I'll have to save that sheet for reference....

It was between those, the Anthracite, and the Silver and I finally decided to go with the Anthracite.

Is that the "kit" ... looks nice...it is the price that sucks...i would have built the kit myself before paying that much. I have over $2500 invested in chassis/suspension for the 92 LSC, but that includes chassis and SN95 stuff, Control arms, panhard...bla bla.
Looks great man...

Sure! You'll really love the overpowering stock 157 hp :gnarly:
This is the first step and will get rid of the scary tiny brakes. It'll be interesting to see how much of a difference it makes in autocross. I'll probably take it out to HPT at some point as well.

I bought the kit. I looked into piecing it together, but it's very dependant on actually being able to find the pieces and also finding a good deal. Some pieces you have/want to buy new or rebuilt. I finally determined that it wasn't worth the money I figured I'd save versus the time it would take to find what I needed. I'll be doing good to get this done by spring as it is. The parts list is available on the FRPP web site.

Looks like it should take a weekend to install, if left uninterupted. An impact wrench is your friend, and PB Blaster (lots of it).

It never works that way for me. I'll run into problems the whole way and when I'm just about to get it done, something will happen to keep me away from it for awhile. It's the way it always works. :HittingHead:

It's not done yet, but I have it on it's wheels again. I have some brake lines to hook up, I'm waiting for some parts, and it still has some major toe-in issues, but it's not on stands anymore.

If you look closely you can see where the front tires left marks when it was rolled out of the garage for pictures. Did I say that it still has major toe-in issues? This is after I went 10 turns out on both sides.

looks good...im sure u are gonna move the drivers side rear tire to where its supposed to go right?? lol the tread is backwards...the one thing i dont like about the sn95 axles is they are 3/4 of and inch longer so it makes them stick out a lil....but looks **** good im sure it brakes a ton better too those same brakes are basically what is on my bullitt

LOL! I wondered if anyone was going to notice that.
I had stuck the rear tires when I finished the axle and noticed that it was the wrong tire when I did it. I have to pull them all off anyway so I can bleed the system, so it'll get fixed then.
I'm anxious to take it out to see what it'll do.
