went out to the track tonight in the Bullitt...its bone stock except silencer removed and passenger side head light pulled for airflow and i ran a 14.027 @100mph my 60' was 2.146....i also had a 14.032 @99.88...all my passes out of 6 were 99+mph and either a low 14.1 or 14.0....im pretty happy with that knowing i had a ton of ppl sayin mid 14s...i even had ppl come over after the 14.027 asking what mods were done and i said removed headlight and they didnt believe me...the track was pretty good...good launch 2nd gear i spun on the shift and 3rd gear got a chirp....i wanna hit a 13.99 as it sits

I'm wondering did you remove weight before hand, spare tire, jack, rear seats?

:agree: Pull all that out, take your tire pressure down to about 20psi, even though your on street tires, they expand at higher speeds and actually will slow the car, depending on what RPM's your shifting at, you could shift sooner or later? Post up some more details, we'll get that car down there next time!!! Sweet job!!

Hmmm, spare tire, jack, back seat, stock wheels, sway bars, k-member.......lol I dropped about 135 lbs total. :2up:

You can get to the 13's...with a little practice you should be able to get that 60' down to 2.0 somethin....there's your tenth! Good Job man! :woohoo:

I suggest you change your shift pattern. Go from 1st to 3rd to 5th. Most people miss the 2-3 shift, so get it out of the way early and you'll be all set.
Then go under the car and remove every 3rd bolt or nut you see and throw them in a bucket....you don't really need them all anyway.
Also, take off your driver's side windshield wiper and bend your antenna to affect a 22.7 degree yaw when the vehicle is experiencing a .72 aft g-load or higher.
This combined with the afore-mentioned tips and the time tested method of putting a piece of bubble gum between the body and the gas door to keep it from popping open at speeds above 88 MPH, and you'll be there.

shifting at 5700 and leaving it in 3rd...3rds max is 110....it was full weight...spare tire, jack, yada yada yada....the car felt great it was the first time i took it out my slow time was a 14.224 and that was cuz i spun hard outta the hole
