Wow can you believe it? It’s already time for our biggest website sponsors 2nd annual car show.

Ok, here is the information on everything. The event is going to be held on Saturday April 4th, rain or shine. It will start at 9AM and go till 5PM. It's going to be held at the 200 South 291 highway in Liberty, Mo. Advanced Auto Parts Store. There contact number is 816.781.8055 if you need help finding them, just call. Our very own Shane Koch and the store manager Brain Peck are the ones in charge of this event.

Now for the best part the winning car will win 100.00 cash and the 2nd place runner up will get 50.00 cash. Hotdogs and hamburgers will also be provided at this event. Please remember to bring cover tents and chairs as covered areas are limited and if so some reason it’s sunny you want to make sure you have water on hand or soda pop to keep from getting dehydrated.

Hope to see you there, I am sure KC-Mustangs.com will be bringing some goodies out to share with our members and to help get new members to join our website. Please tell all your automotive friends about this event, it could win you 1st prize of a 100 dollars if your car is the top winner of this event.

Cya there,
Kyle

Just curious if you have a typo. April 3rd is a Friday. Is this still correct?

Your correct that should have said the 4th, not the 3rd.

Shane... you give me the wrong date. :Jimmy_kicking_time_

Thanks for pointing that out tweety.

Congratulations to Steven for getting the 1st runner-up trophy!!!

We had a good showing (half the cars there) and made some new friends. The Corvette guys were really cool and I hope to see them out again this summer. I look to see a new member with a certain blue mustang soon. He definitely gets the "Elbow Grease" award. I don't think he stopped shining his car for 5 minutes!
A lot of us got some neat door prizes. Mine was a no-brainer, "Here's some Never Dull for your wheels.":thanks:
OldGuy gave me his prize: a bottle of polish/wax. What are you trying to say, Don?:smilielol: BTW, you're right.
It was great to see everyone out. I'm looking forward to fun year.

Spread the word!

P.S. Ken, you left about 30 minutes too early:Jimmy_kicking_time_ You would've won! Instead the silver drop-top Stingray took the prize.

yeah right, sorry to not believe you, but the times i have been to a car show that had old 'vettes in it - they always take the trophies and not people like me. ones who have newer fixed up cars.
but nice for you to say so.

Dude, I thought you wasa pretty cool cat but you have a bleek outlook at times.
You honestly took 1st place, but you left so by default you lost too.

Ken you did win buddy, but you left to soon and the Vette picked up the win due to you not being there.

Oh well was a good time and I did get a little video, not as much as I would have like to gotten but some is better then none.

Thanks everyone for making it a great show and good time. Shane, Thank you and the AAP store for all you both did for KCM a and the Car Show.

Glad to hear it was a good event. I wish I could have made it out there but with our 4 year starting soccer, the MS Walk, and a wedding (totally forgot about) that afternoon... it wasn't meant to be I guess.

Would love to see some "video" as well... :)

p.s. - how can we get our calendars for those not able to attend?

Sean,

I still have some calendars left so no problem there, I will try to get the video out ASAP, it's small but I will still get it out. I am still working on mastering that new video camera. I missed some footage I thought I had gotten.

I had a great time! The wind made it difficult to open the hoods and show off our "far superior" engines bays to the bow tie guys.

I'm looking forward to the next one!
