Getting a car ready in the 75min between rounds is astounding considering that includes tearing down the engine, rebuilding it, and tuning it. ****!!!

It is really cool to watch them do all that between rounds. My dad and me go every year down in Ennis, Texas at the O'reilly Fall Nationals at the Texas Motorplex. We camp out way back in the parking lot(which all it is, is a huge a$$ mowed down pasture). We have a really good time. The gates open usually about 7:30 a.m. and we try to be there right when they do. You can see the entire process of getting everything out and ready for the day. Besides you never know who will be roaming around the pits on their pit bikes. I've gotten to talk with Greg Anderson, John & Ashley Force and a whole lot of other drivers just buy getting there early enough. Let me tell ya, Ashley is one good lookin women...:hehe:

Ashley told me to tell you thanks for the compliment. She is just getting up and around. We had a long night last night...giggity. I'm about to make her lunch. Then I think we are going cruising in her "mustang".

Cory Mac is definitely one of The Good Guys. Back a few years ago we had his car in our crew chief's shop in Topeka and I was very honored to be able to wrench on it a bit.

Being a crew guy is A Lot of work, and I tip my hat to those guys. I had a ball doing it, but man, is it a bit much for an old fat man!
