I am in process of building a water/meth kit

my kit will be activated by the stand alone and Ill probably mist the mix in front of the turbo for testing - I have a pump that I should be able to push it in after the turbo if I like it.:screwy:

Meth is supposed to work good to cool off the intake charge. It also helps you run more timing/make more power on lower octane gas.

If you can run the good gas (110+), then I don't think that you will see much benefit to running it.

This is just my opinion on this and have not had a lot of personnal experience with it, so take that into consideration before using my advice.

the cooling is my main desire - any safety margin as to timing is a side benefit.

ill be data logging my inlet temps when I test my setup - but as I haven't used before....

If your just using it to cool the air, alot of guys just run straight water. In this setup you dont have to lean fuel out or add timing to see benefits.

inital trials at the track were VERY positive.
only made 2 passes sadly so it is an A B test instead of A B A
on low boost 10.7 136
on low boost with 50% water 50% meth 10.7 132 spinning hooking then spinning again at the top end....
I hope to get back to the dyno in a few weeks (single parenting eats up time and money) to really see the improvement and datalog

I run a meth kit on my car didn't see much power gain only 10rwtq on a 50\50 mix. But mostly run it for cooling; going to switch to water only and tune with that.

i bought a snow injection kit at st louis world ford challenge. i dont have the time right now to install it. i have the big block in my 96 and it runs a little hot so i hope that it will cool it down some. horse power would be a bonus. its now a winter project. i am going to pull my motor out and and try and make it meaner not there yet.
