So my car at idle is going from 2000 rpms to 600 and wants to die what could be the issue? The tune?

Possibly TPS? IAC? Is it tuned to start with or a factory tune?

it has the tune from supertunes. roger tuned it. how do I go about checking it?

Did anything change in the car recently? Do any upgrades? maintenance? When did you get the tune?

I got the tune like 2 months ago and there have been no upgrades it jsut started acting up for no reason..

Odds are its the IAC... Not easy to troubleshoot though. If you have a friend nearby with the same motor, just trade and see if it fixes it :)

Otherwise, you can try unplugging it while its at 2000rpms, and see what happens.

so ya on my way back from mw audio the car completely died. the rpms are moving all over the place and its idling at 2 grand? I had to pay a tow truck to take it back to supertunes to see if they can fix it this time....:LandLdd:

Maybe a bad ground to the TPS sensor?

I stayed until 9pm for the tow truck driver to get here to so I could pull it into the shop instead of the tow truck just leaving it out front. I did start it up and drive it into the shop and it was idleing just fine at 1g. Wasn't hesitating. I'll get started on it this afternoon though to find the culprit.

You have to understand my issue on this. You know the tune is messed up and I have to wait to get my car back??? Thats nuts. This is his own lil candy store and his cars take presidence over mine that he messed up?? I know you all jsut work there but you have to know that's madness.. cant understand how anyone runs a business like that.
