exhaust question???

last sunday at the track i had magnaflows with turndowns and went 13.5 at 105. my 60 ft was 2.18 had traction issues through second gear(didnt heat the nittos up)

then friday i had a new set of magnaflow mufflers put on with tail pipes and tips. i had a better 60ft time this week but ran a 13.5 at 102.5.
my 60 ft was 2.03*i actually heated the nittos up and hooked a lot better)

do you think i really lost 2.5mph by just running the exhaust out the back. maybe have something to do with the new mufflers??

The better you hook up and spin less, your mph will drop down. Last year when my car was basically stock, I went 13.07 at 102 with 1.75 60's. Your 60's were a little better, but the air quality this week was nowhere near as good as last week, so that kinda compensates for the lower ET's. Until you start launching that car hard, your 60's aren't going to get much better, maybe 1.9's here and there.

Chip/tune, Bassani O/R X-pipe, CAI, 4.10's, short throw shifter, and ran on M/T drag radials (Launching at 5,000)
