Too bad that's the same weekend as the Midwest All Truck Nationals in Riverside. I'll be there with the Ranger if I still have it. If I don't, this sounds like a fun, although hot, time!!! :2up::2up::2up:

Looks like i should make it too this one. I just got my heads back from the machine shop in olathe. My com etech head gaskets had to order and will be in today. I just got my radiator and new fan and shroud combo back from kauffman machine shop in olathe. That was alot of work to set up. I have dual spal fans with shroud making 2780 cfms compared to my old set up without shroud making 1600 cfm. So now i hafto lay my radiator back to clear my crank pully and power steering pully. Get out the welder lol. 10 lbs in a 5 lb box.:drunk_smiley: If this all works out i can order my blower from procharger. And the night mares start all over again.:drunk_smiley::2up:

Thanks for making this a sticky. Despite the horrible heat, KC-Mustangs.com was very well represented last year, so we are looking forward to seeing a bunch of you guys out there this weekend.

I posted this over at Purpose Built too, but for you guys who are racers and may have missed it, here's the breakdown of the purse payouts:

The above spreadsheet details the specific amounts for each class that is eligible for a portion of the purse. All other classes are trophy classes.

Note: Each class must have at least 4 cars to qualify for full class payout. If less than 4 cars are entered, then the payout will be a percent based on the number of cars entered:

1 car = 25% of payout
2 cars = 50 %
3 car = 75%
4 or more 100% for each class
Car must complete a full pass

Mustang Week was great....so much better than last year (the weather last year was miserably hot)

This year's events were better organized as well...lots of fun out there with hundreds, maybe over 1,000 Mustangs, Im not sure how many were there

Lets cruise out there together on Sunday if you'd like...I'll bring the 10x10 shade :2up:

You should race, you will be grouped with cars of similar speed. This is a good event to learn at.

You can both show and race, but if you want to run in one of the heads up classes, you'll have to pay two entry fees.

However, there is a bracket class for show cars only which you can run in at no extra charge. But be aware that there's only going to be one big bracket for show cars, so a 15-second show car could be lined up against an 11-second show car, and they'll be handicapped accordingly.
