Well, I hadn't planned on racing, but got bullied in to making a pass from some other Vamp racers and the track crew! So I just took it slow off the line them layed into it.

Ended up running 11.69 at 117mph! WOW, that was on a crappy 1.71 60' cause I only left the line at 3,000rpm and the track wasn't in that good of shape!!!

****, I can't wait til March 11th!!

Thanks! That time will drop down quite a bit more!! I left the line at 3,000rpm instead of 4,500. The track was crappy, but not for lack of effort from the track crew, just not enough rubber laid down yet and still kinda cold? I was on BFG's instead of my new Mickeys and forgot to adjust my front struts from 50/50 daily driver to 90/10 race!! Oh well, not a bad day for just going to watch and got suckered in to making 1 pass!!!:2up:

Ran my best today. (even had traction control 'ON', lol)

R/T .256
60' 2.105
330 5.553
1/8 8.386
MPH 88.93
1000 10.744
1/4 12.734
MPH 113.80

That was my first run. I had severe traction issues all day. My next purchase needs to be a line lock.

Had a blast!

Good Gosh...I told you that you would lay down some wicked times! Very nice indeed! You realize so far, you've picked up 1.3 secs in the 1/4 by JUST bolting on a blower. Geez...Hope my spray works good this year.

Outstanding Jeff! You Da Man. Good job Supertune!

****, and hitting 11's with just that small amount of power? Good to hear that it all gets to the ground! Thats what ii'll be having trouble with depending on which route i decide to take lol thats awesome though!

I got alot of advise from a few guys on here and alot of Vamp racers last year on putting power to the ground and getting the most out of every horse. I wasn't really trying to get the best time today, I just made a quick easy pass and ended up better then I thought for how I ran it. I can't wait to really make some serious runs on the 11th with the right tire psi, suspension set right, and getting some good launches. I may be backing some of the hp down later on if I run in the 40's too much? Nothing like paying $20.00 to get one pass and told to leave. besides, my breakout time for vamp is 11.70, so depending on the weather and how much track time I get to learn to sandbag all over again???? LOL

Oh no, I didn't get kicked out today, hell I didn't even pay to run today! LOL, it's good to have connections!!

Most of the advise I got was technique, tire psi, launching, clutching, shifting and best of all, sandbagging! LOL, Joe and Mike at Supertune gave me all the power advise, and live and learn gave me mod advise!!

lol gotcha gotcha, i'll probably head to them with my next car, i've heard mc racing is good but also have a few people that went up there and got shitty tunes each time.

I was just thinking with that sand bag run you are going to have to get a cage if you wanna go all out. I'll be getting some more advice from you Jeff...because when you learn, I become a spongue! LOL :woohoo:

Oh yeah and to bust your chops...isn't Joe making less power?...lol Haaa j/k.

yeah, my 60's was real crappy too! But that's why i only made on pass, I wasn't gonna make any, but peer pressure got the best of me. The track was too cold, not enough rubber laid down for the VHT to stick good. I just hope the weather is nice next Sunday so more people will run and then so March 11th the track will be alot better??? Wishful thinking!! LOL
