We are a Paxton / Vortech warehouse distributor. I can get you awesome pricing on one of those kits, if you choose.

No matter what path you take...just know that SuperTune will treat you right when it comes to installing and tuning whatever you need... :2up:
...and I speak from the experience of a Procharger user. I'm not biased toward any blower...but I AM a firm believer in the great service, pricing, and quality of tuning that SuperTune has given me.

I'm not necessarily telling you which one to choose but since the topic is Procharger I will say this. A majority of new edge guys in town run prochargers with great success making great power and turning great times. The ability to have a local company and a local dealer to be in contact with if anything were to be of question is very helpful. You also have a great number of great guys here on the forums with prochargers on their new edge stangs. So then you have the oppurtunity to meet some of us and use our experience to help you install the kit at your home. You meet great people and learn something in the process. Just a few insights.

Man, I have no problem admitting im too stupid to actually attempt to install one myself. It would be like Special Ed trying to answer a math question:2up:

Thats one of the main reasons for this site though. Its the oppurtunity to meet average joes like yourself that love mustangs as much as you do. So we get together for a saturday or something, grab some food and refreshments and get to work. We could have it knocked out in a day. Not taking away from STP because you guys know I love ya tons, but half the fun is doing the work yourself to better your knowledge on the car.

MC Racing is a Procharger Dealer! I've had 3 friends now purchase stuff from them, and VERY happy with the guys over there. If you decide to go with Procharger, give them a call or stop by their shop. They'd be happy to help ya out!

:agree:
I like to know that I did the work on my car to build up the performance. Feels a little sweeter when you get in and rev her up after doing a little bit of work under the hood.

Bincky is right about Supertune...Buy a Vortec or Paxton from Supertune. Supertune Rocks! :headbang:
But if you absolutely have to have a Procharger get it off E-bay, tons cheaper...

How about this, buy the Procharger from anywhere (my personal favorite), we'll help you install it, but then get it tuned at Supertune and every other part you ever buy for you car from them? How's that?
My two boys and me installed ours by ourselves in a weekend, and I have learned so much more since then that it would take me half the time. Scott.

03gtmo and i installed my VORTECH kit in about two hours, very easy, i love my VORTECH, but ive never been a fan of a self contained lubericating system in a supercharger, something about 50,000 rpm's and 6 ounces of oil just makes me nervous. :2up:

You must not fully understand how the self contained unit works but thats cool. I guess Donnie Walsh Jr. running 65k rpms in an F3A that only holds 4oz of oil isn't proof enough that it works. The oil is slung everywhere. It only takes a mist of oil to coat a bearing and keep it cool. What makes me nervous about oil fed is that I have no monitoring that oil is actually getting pumped into the blower. A simple engine fault and the line gets plugged. I have no idea and then boom. Overheating and the blower crashes. SC's you always know you have oil.

All forced induction blows!!! Haha. Wait til you see the trick I've got up my sleeve that should hopefully be coming to a reality this weekend. You'll never guess it but let it be known. It will be the only of its kind procharged in the country if not the world. Isn't that kick ass to say. :smilielol:

But anything that makes boost, is cool in my book.

Thanks for all the help and advice guys! One last question though. How do your vehicles handle after getting sc'd? How do they handle in the winter and bad weather etc? This car is my daily driver and was just curious about that.

With a safe tune you'll be fine in any weather condision. Mustangs are not the best car in the winter with or without a SC'er on them.

You shouldn't have in difficulties. We can do an everyday driving tune and a "street tune" for you. You can switch between the two tunes at will. Most of the cars we do Vortechs on are peoples everyday drivers. You'll be fine :2up:

Yeah, I totally forgot that you can't "suggest" or lend advice to someone about a product that ISNT sponsored on here, or else you end up getting your head bit off, etc etc.
