Rivet gun?

Does anybody have one I can borrow or know where I can get a rivet gun that works with the large 1/4" rivets that hold the door handles on. I see them online for $25-$35, but anything I can find that might be local is $129 or more.

I'd be weary of a rivet gun for $35. You really get what you pay for with hand tools like that.

It doesn't have to work forever, so quality is not an issue, it's just that all the smaller good ones can't work with the large rivets.

Whats the diameter of the rivet stem? I'm assuming these are pull type fasteners, if so I might have a puller that will work for you.

I'm not sure of the stem diameter, they are just called 1/4" rivets.

I'll check my puller tomorrow at work and see if I can't figure out what is the largest rivet it will pull.

Ok, I checked my puller and the largest stem it will pull is a 1/8th inch. I don't know if this will work for you or not.

Thanks guys, believe it or not, the O'Reillys here in Raytown had one, and I hadn't even checked there. I checked an Independence one only. Then after going onto a manufacturers website and looking for the distributors, I called one and he told me that O'Reillys in Raytown had one. Anyway, I got it taken care of.
