Does the TOB have to be replaced right away? What happens if it is not addressed soon enough?

Thanks

It sounds like pea gravel in a blender when in neutral and rolling when the tranny is cold. It goes away after it gets warm, but starts to squeak then.

not sure but the sound in the video sounds like something in the tranny...do you have any trouble going into any gears?

Nope, it shifts perfectly. I posted this on some other mustang boards and I got a lot of responses from people telling me it was my TOB. I am going to replace it with a spec stage 2 hopefully soon.

the reason it doesnt sound like a tob to me is it goes away when warm...most of them stay around the whole time

Ive had them make more noise at different temperatures before. If you dont replace it though, you could damage your Pressure plate, and possibly your transmission front bearing retainer. Get it fixed ASAP.

if its making noise... fix the problem

it can score the bearing retainer (60 bucks)

it can also cause clutch failure after a few 100 miles
