cool man, Ive been wanting to put my red tail light bezels back on (i have black ones now) but I like the offset of the black on the red with my wheels and headlights and stuff so thats whats keeping me. I think ill try that nightshade stuff and see how it turns out. I think the red bezels with smoked lenses would look a lot cleaner. I also want to paint that area on the rear bumper that a lot of the GT's came with painted from the factory.

Just a small single, etc. Likely no competition for a modded SS or 03/04 Cobra as she sits - unless it's a high roll.

She's all torn apart in the garage at the moment. Work has been absolutely insane lately and it doesn't look like it's going to slow down for another week or so. I've been working on her a few hours a time over the past few days just to keep me sane.

Thanks man. I wasn't very fond of yellow and black either. Needless to say its growing on me lately. I should be getting some new rims this spring from either CCW or Forgeline and keep the yellow ones for roadcourses only. The car looks better in person. I finally figured out how to work photoshop.com and found some old pics. The engine is a R302 block carved to 363CI. Trickflow heads, triple disc clutch is light and very very responsive. If you look in the holes, there is coil-overs in front and back has Koni-adjustables. I bought it this way from a guy who raced it on roadcourses and I plan on doing that as well. Its not street freindly--rough ride etc.

Ah, Mr. Saleen Guru, my saleen friend, we must stick together!! Thanks for the comments, I love this site, tons of awesome stangs not to mention some sick saleens!! Funny thing is, the guy who I bought it from at one point couple years ago it had 675 hp and club raced it at ford events across the country. When it had that much HP, he said he was chasing down those 150k vipers on the roadcourses going 180+ on the straights. Did I mention that it was naturally aspirated 675hp!!!....Anyways, I don't need that much power!..........yet.....its been toned down before I got it, I need to get it dyno'd soon to see what it pulls.

ps. We need a Saleen cruise together, maybe can the club saleens together and romp around terrorizing Overland Park or for that matter the entire KC area. Till then, I need to get it fixed, its not starting lately.

Unfortunetly, Mr. attitude is not working properly. I started it up the other day, heard a large snap in the engine bay and now it won't idle now. I can start it, and if I keep the rpm above 2k it will stay on, but when I let the peddle go so it can idle on its own it then dies. I need to get it fixed and am looking for a good mechanic. Might have to get it towed and that will hurt daddies feelings. I need to call Supertune really quick.

Yea, for now. These dealers and ignorant buyers think these are gonna be super rare cars there fore the dealer mark up is outrageous. However there will be 7-9k a year built for at least 3 model years. I'm in no hurry to get one, I'm actually waiting to get my work comp settlement from work.

Yea, I rolled my ankle pretty bad in Nov of 2004, took them til Feb 05 to diagnose the problem and told me I needed an ankle fusion but they don't want to pay for it. They said they didn't see how a sprained ankle turned into needing an ankle fusion and said I must have some sort of pre existing condition.
So of course I got an attorney and am waiting on a settlement. Attorney said it'll be an open and shut case in my favor but it takes a while before they will settle.

Nozzle & fuel solenoid. I used a 12" fuel line and a 24" Nitrous line to help prevent cycling of the FPSS, and reduce the lean spike that occurs during activation of the system. (1000psi N20 getsto the nozzle a lot faster than a flowing fuel supply does):

Thanks a lot for the comps guys- I'm sure happy to have that install behind me- it took over a month but I guess i'm kinda anal retentive about the Mach. As of right now I just have the 50 hp jets in (and empty bottles):thumbs_down: . but hopefully this weekend when I come to the meeting I can get them filled, do some flow/activation/deactivation tests and run the 50 on the street. This being my first Nitrous car I'm going to take baby steps until I get use to the instant hp/torque. I hope to have Supertune put it on the dyno, install a flip chip and jet her for 75-100 soon. I won't push her over 100 until I have an upgraded fuel system (focus pump). So to finally answer the question Ill probably- depending upon a/f run between a 75-100 shot.:pbj:

Rex...I think we'll get along just fine!...excellent install. Make sure you get your timing pulled out and the A/F is dead on...I lost my first engine because I got greedy and just the "small jets". Mine was because of timing. (way too advanced from factory for nitrous).

Supertune is where I get my Nitrous filled up. I think the have the best price around and they are right down the street from my house. :2up:

Good luck with the Nitrous. You will love it. Keep the tune right and you should never have any problems with it. I have been running nitrous since 1996 with no problems. I get people all the time tell me that it is going to blow my motor up and I just laugh because those are the guys that just don't know anything about Nitrous but yet they are telling me that I am going to blow it up...:shrug:

Thanks for the kind words! I'll be at the meet. That was just a custom bracket my cousin and I made one afternoon. He has a shop that has CNC machines and all the good stuff for machining metals. They make stair lifts for elderly people. Still trying to talk him into putting some porting programs for aluminum heads into his machine! LOL
I have a flip chip also and will get a 2nd tune for the new nitrous setup. Pull some timing out and make sure the fuel is straight up. I get my nitrious filled at Harder Performance on Neiman road just south of 87th street. Supertune has nitrous but I think the pump has been on the fritz.

I would have liked to made it yesterday, but in about 4 hours I am heading to Canada, too much to do before trip. Also got air intake disassembled, so not driveable. I ordered BBK unit from RPM outlet with 2 day ship, they now say it is on back order. That is probably one of the most common items people buy for their car, and they don't keep it in stock? Last time I order from them.

My GT will never have the power yours has, but the visual theme is similar goal I have. I may go with the Xenon body kit. Friday I ordered a Nu Image custom dash http://www.eautoworks.com/html/ORD-1-1-1-34196.cfm . Should be here when I get back from trip. I plan to have it sprayed same color as car - redfire metallic clearcoat. Such an expensive hobby!

$295, plus sh*t tons of gas. I had to put in 104 unleaded sold at the roadcourse because my car requires it on days like this. So, needless to say I spent roughly 120+ on gas the entire weekend from driving down from KC both mornings and to home. Was worth it though, its an amazing sport. Just when I thought my car was fast, I got eaten up by others. There were two mustangs there, mine and another Cobra R.

Here's the Mach 1 at the Pittsburg KS car show on Saturday. Didn't do anything there. All Ford's were lumped together and lost to a cherry Model A and a stunning 66 Mustang convertible (cleaner than new). Oh well, had a great drive down and back.

Toby, she's runnin good. Had new clutch, disc plates and mechanical bearing installed. The shifting is sharp now. I still get a lot of smoke out the pipes and out from the vent caps on the valve covers so that is another issue. Probably a rebuild this fall. I had some decent runs last wednesday, there were only 3 run groups and I think I got onto the track 5-6 times. Toby, she's runnin good. Had new clutch, disc plates and mechanical bearing installed. The shifting is sharp now. I still get a lot of smoke out the pipes and out from the vent caps on the valve covers so that is another issue. Probably a rebuild this fall. I had some decent runs last wednesday, there were only 3 run groups and I think I got onto the track 5-6 times.
