I wish you luck on that one, Jeff. I rarely see them second-hand...and when they do come up they sell quickly. New ones have gotten REALLY expensive.

That sounds about like what the guy over on modular depot said. He works for a Ford dealership, and sells on that site .

As long as you have a 1/4 of a tank you'll be fine. I know that is more then you may want to have in it but it's a safe level no matter how hight the front end is off of the ground.

If my tank will fit your year (any ideas fellas?), you could just strap a A1000 on it and be done with it. It is a mid 90's cobra tank, with a weld in sump, baffle, and -10/-8 fittings in the sump. . .first 75 bucks gets it out of my garage. .

your math won't work... the trq will be what sets us a part now..I was 1 mph off your best with just my H/C set up where I was losing time was in the first 1/8 because of the wieght diff.. but "if" I can out tq you by 50 to 75ftlbs it should make it a cake walk for me.. :wave1:

Cake walk huh??? At most I'll only have around 500rwtq, and even though your gonna be around 600rwtq, our HP may be close enough that our weight difference will make it closer!
But, either way, your cake walk aint gonna happen, cause I've got all the iciing!! :beatyoass: :smilielol:

Yeah, but I never really got to run in good air with a healthy motor!!! I am guessing .40-.50's easily if it wouldn't have been hurt in the good air???
And once the heat comes.......your screwed, I can at least run ice!! :Jimmy_kicking_time_
either way, next year is flat gonna kick ass!! :hail:

WTF was the air when you ran your best numbers you dip shit it was 40* that night!
as for the heat LMFAO.. I guess you missed the post on PB about the nitrous controller that works off boost... ;) ramp it in to help spool up then out when at full boost.. I won't need ice other then to chill your beer. I'll have to have a case ready after every ass kicking I do to you..oh hell what am I thinking I'll need a 4 cases of beer so all your boosted 2v / 4v brothers can drink there sorrows away when I'm done with ya'll!!!

When I did run a good number back in May, yeah it was cooler, but I had to lift for the 11.70 index.........but I didn't lift soon enough.
As far as the last couple races when the air was good, my motor didn't like me! I was running 118-119 in the heat when the motor was running good, then when it should have been screaming, it was hurt and only hitting 112-114mph??? But, I was still running 11.71-11.74's???
But, if you really wanna see what the car can actually do with what it made, I can always keep this same tune and put the blower on in a couple weeks???:smilielol: :smilielol:

Thats a pretty **** good deal. Getting it here would be the trouble though. Kinger, just get Kyle and Mike to hit up Chitown instead of just coming here from Iowa. Then they can just load it up on the trailer with Mikes car, :smilielol: I'm sure they wouldn't mind!!
