What is the best intake for a 5.0 302 with a vortech V2SQ. Stock engine right now. I intend to do cam and heads in the future. Anything that will work well now and better later?

No, I was leaning more towards a Blow Thru Carb set-up like Joe used to run on his 302 with the Paxton!! :hail:

Either the original GT-40, Edelbrock Victor (EFI), or Trick Flow. Of course, one of the best manifolds of all time for the money is the original 5.0 Cobra upper and lower, and my new Jegs has it for 379.00. It doesn't flow as well as the above mentioned, but is kick ayse up to around 400 +/- 50 horse.

The Edelbrock Victor is waaaaaay too much intake for a mild 5.0 I would recommend the Edelbrock Performer or Performer RPM. I have had both and they rock! :2up:

way to much for a mild 5.0? perhaps cost you 20 ft lbs. I couldn't tell the difference when I switched from Cobra intake to Victor on a mild small block. I could however tell the difference in the 2 when we added AFR 185's and 12psi, which is where he'll likely end up with the V2. I have experience with a bunch of intakes and in hindsight, I wish I had only bought one, and grew into it. You're right though, the performers would be great options as well, there are a ton of good 5.0 intakes. .
