Scott is running at the NMRA Bowling Green race this weekend. He qualified in Mod Comp this morning with an 11.48 @ 114. :woohoo: That's a new personal best for the car, and as you can see he was letting off.
I'll post more results here as I get them.

I've been following him on www.nmraracing.com, they have over 40 cars in Mod Motor, this is definetely an event worth attending. Another nice way to see an overview of racing is www.nmratv.com.:2up: Good Luck Sunday man.

Scott, those 26x11.5 must have really made a difference, that has got
to be the fasted stock bottom end 2V on the planet, I was getting ready
for you to show me a time slip, that is too much man.

Geez....23rd out ouf 47 cars. Wasn't that long ago a mid-eeleven car would put you in the top 1/4 of the field easy. There are a lot of cars in that class that need to be running Drag Radial or something. I hope he does well!

My guess would be RPM's, cause he's gotta go to 2nd in less then 2 seconds!:hail:

I'm seeing the benefits of a shift light. I never realized or thought about how much track goes by while you're looking at a gage until I saw this pic.

I don't think I even look up to see the track til I hit 3rd and finally get to relax! 2nd comes right after the 60'.......which is 1.6 seconds, then 3rd is about 2 more seconds away! With the 6,300 rev limiter coming on so quick, and never dropping below 5,200rpm's, my eyes are glued to the tach!!

Well here's the results:
Tom Motycka got him again. Scott cut a .005 light and a 1.61 60' but couldn't cover the 11.38, ran a 11.63 with Motycka baggin' all the way.
Gotta hand it to him, he's out there playin with the big boys. Congrats!
Now Scott- get the 50 shot so you can cover the number when the temp goes up 20 degrees between qualifying and eliminations!

Nice Job Man, look at it this way, you got your best time ever and the car charged hard! Tom and I faced off last year at NMRA in KC in Round One, needless to say I was able to make it home on Sunday and see the Raiders play, I mean Chiefs. Congrats on a stellar year of racing Scott.:woohoo:

Thanks gang, I'm sitting here with Steph in the Ramada watching my Bears. Needless to say I am both happy and sad (pretty pissed actually). To continue to cut .00 lights in eliminations and give the race away is pretty frustrating. I was trying to qualify around 11.79 for a 11.69 dial in so I could for sure cover the number. When I say my timeslip yesterday I almost crapped because I lifted pretty hard.
Oh well, the track was awesome, Bowling Green is a cool town, and you guys have never seen more sweet mustangs in your entire life. We have got to get a few of you out there next year, even if just to spectate. I'm looking forward to VAMP this coming Saturday!
By the way, Steph actually did approve the NOS so I could cover any spread I might need to make up! I just don't think I have the C C C C Courage.......

Agreed- after watching Roy's video of mine at the last Vamp race I shift to 2nd RIGHT AT the 60ft timer.

Incredible to hear Scott. I'm totally stoked for you. Lets leave the vagina juice to the ones that can't make it on constant power. We'll focus on a new bottom end and more boost for ya. You don't need to be injecting that funny stuff and blow the motor too soon, lol. Like I have always said, you have the sickest bone stock 2v with our kit on it. I'm just glad that you're local so I can get funny feeling in my pants when looking at it. Haha

Definitely. I've got all my suspension waiting in my room except for teh springs which should be here this week. So some cruising will be in the plans. Installed the 8" antenna today too, so much better.
